For this year’s holiday drives in the PNW, Design West Engineering was able to gather together some amazing partners in TGB Architects and Lydig Construction to help imagine and deliver on some exciting charitable efforts. With so many amazing organizations doing great things in the Northern Puget Sound area, this year’s drive efforts were expanded to include a food drive to support the Nourishing Network under the Foundation for Edmonds School District which provides meals for students who depend on their schools to receive their food to make they have meals to eat on weekends and holiday breaks; a coat drive for Washington Kids in Transition ensuring Snohomish County children in unstable living circumstances can count on having a brand new coat to keep warm heading into the winter months; and a toy drive for the Christmas House which provide locations for qualifying Snohomish County families to “shop” for and select gifts to wrap and bring home to their children for Christmas. With the support of additional friends in our network like WJE, Elcon Engineering, Raedeke Associates, and others, our collective teams were excited to see these donations come in and go back out to make an impact.
