Sequim
Design West Engineering provided extensive services for the Sequim School District across multiple projects.
For Sequim High School, we conducted a comprehensive site visit and assessment for the HVAC Replacement and EMS upgrade project. This included reviewing existing conditions, HVAC equipment, and ductwork, followed by an assessment for the installation of a new BMS system. Phase I focused on repairing or replacing non-functioning units, while Phase II involved the removal, replacement, and campus-wide upgrades of remaining mechanical equipment and the control system.
At the Olympic Peninsula Academy, our team performed site visit investigations and assessments, reviewing existing conditions and equipment for code compliance and preparing a complete Design Services Proposal for necessary system upgrades.
Additionally, we completed the full MEP/FP design for the renovation of the Sequim School District Boardroom. This project included redesigning the first floor and converting the second floor into offices, slightly expanding the Board Room, and remodeling four restrooms for ADA compliance. We also installed three new ADA power-assist doors, upgraded plumbing fixtures for ADA restroom improvements, and assisted the architect with notes for relocating fixtures to ensure ADA compliance.
