Design West provided complete MEP design for the Orange Coast College Recycling Center which has won two pacific Coast Builder’s Conference awards for design and sustainability. The new recycling center will house a student run operation that has operated for more than 45 years and donates its revenue to scholarships at the college.
Working with the architects at Perkins Eastman Dougherty, we designed a LEED Gold Certified space which includes the collection center and admin building, sorting and compacting yard, and Solar PV covered parking structures.
