Stanton Central Park

About the Project

Design West provided electrical and lighting design across the park which included sports lighting design for two baseball fields, two soccer fields, tennis courts, and a skate park. Power and lighting design was completed for a splash pad, an amphitheater, a community building, restroom buildings, and a concession building. Exterior lighting systems were designed for the parking lot, pedestrian walkways, and shelters. All park lighting systems utilized state-of-the-art LED lighting fixtures.

The design of this park has been most noted for its exemplification of responsible and sustainable resource conservation measures. Stanton Central Park is a great move forward for the city’s park system and was fully funded by bond and grant monies without impacting the city’s general fund.

The new park now provides the city of Stanton with a place to host large-scale events to which will serve to bring the community together.
