Chaffey College Library & Learning Commons

About the Project

Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical, Fire Protection, and Technology Criteria and Bridging document design as well as early design phase commissioning support for a new Library and Learning Commons for Chaffey College at the Rancho Cucamonga Campus. Project included a new Library which will be located centrally, near the new Campus Center, Student Services Building and Instructional Buildings. A portion of the space will also be dedicated to a distance education “hub”, faculty success center, and other, multipurpose uses, such as individual/group study and web- based and electronic media support for both onsite and offsite education.

Chaffey College’s Library and Learning Commons project had several facets. Through that project we were able to help the District develop a comprehensive OPR and Cx Plan that will ensure their needs and expectations are well defined for design and construction teams throughout the Measure P bond.
