About the Project

Clark County Public Transit Benefit Area Authority, or C-TRAN as it is more commonly known is the public transit agency that serves Clark County, Washington. With some dated buildings and equipment currently in use, assessments and upgrades were necessary over three buildings across two sites, totaling 81,000 SF.
An assessment was performed at the 65th Avenue site of the existing inventory space, which was followed by design of a replacement HVAC system to provide code required ventilation for the existing storage space.

Design West Engineering provided installation of a new standby generator to provide essential power for at least 36 hours to maintain public transit operations, Server room A/C replacements for both locations, Load readings to establish a connection to the new server room in the maintenance building, and upgrades and relocation of data and fiber across one of the sites.
