Design West Engineering played a crucial role in the Winchester Elementary School Modernizations by providing comprehensive mechanical and plumbing construction documents for multiple buildings at Hemet Unified School District. For Building A (Admin/MPR), we revised load calculations, selected new HVAC units, and redesigned ductwork and plumbing layouts. In Building B (Kindergarten), we conducted load calculations, created new equipment schedules, and designed new ductwork and plumbing systems. For Buildings C & D (Classrooms), we updated HVAC and plumbing layouts and gas piping. In Building F (Classrooms and Offices), we revised duct layouts and equipment selections. For Building G (Classrooms and Offices), we designed new HVAC and plumbing systems. In the new Building H (Library/Kindergarten/Classrooms), we developed a complete ductwork and plumbing system design, including rooftop AC unit placements and utility connections, and provided fire sprinkler plans with specifications, detailing fire sprinkler head locations and distribution piping. Our work ensured each building met efficiency and functionality standards, enhancing the school’s learning environment.
