Design West constructed Cuesta College Campus Center, an LEED Silver-certified student services and admin building. Fire protection included wet fire suppression system design, meeting codes and standards.

New construction of Cuesta College Campus Center. The Campus Center is a student services and administration office building housing of approximately 29,340 SF that houses financial aid services, the counseling center, human resources, foundation and marketing, fiscal services, admin services, and the president’s office. The following project includes LEED Silver Certification.
Fire Protection scope included complete automatic wet fire suppression system design of new Campus Center at Cuesta College in accordance with California Fire Code, NFPA Standards, and local amendments. System design includes sprinkler piping and head locations/coordination, pipe hanger and bracing locations, seismic bracing calculations, and hydraulic calculations.
