Design West Engineering contributed to multiple projects at Canyon Springs High School, including the football stadium, gymnasium, administrative building, and math and science building, enhancing the learning environment.

About the Project

Canyon Springs High School in the Moreno Valley Unified School District serves approximately 2,200 students. The school received funds from the community-supported Bond Measure M, a $75 million program for new and refurbished facilities. Design West has been involved in many of the projects on campus, consisting of the gym, football stadium, Administrative Building and Math & Science Building.

Specific scope included:

  • Football Stadium | New construction including locker rooms, concessions, and restrooms
  • Site Electrical | ADA Parking upgrades of 20,000 SF including pathway lighting along path of egress
  • Gymnasium | HVAC and Fire/Life Safety modernization of the 20,840 SF gym
  • Administrative Building | 90,590 SF modernization including offices, career center, library, and innovation lab
  • Math and Science Building | 51,000 SF new construction, providing 8 fully-integrated science labs and 16 new classrooms
  • Additional Projects on Campus | Multipurpose Building; Cyber Innovation Lab; interim prep kitchen, food service portables and admin; handcourt restoration; load recordings
